1\/8 Inch Water Flow Sensor YF-S401\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The YF-S401 Water flow sensor is a small device comprising a plastic valve body, a water rotor, and a hall effect sensor. As water flows through the\u00a0Water flow\u00a0<\/span>sensor, the internal rotator changes its speed in accordance with the rate of flow, and the hall effect sensor outputs a series of digital pulses. This allows the flow rate to be accurately measured using a microcontroller.<\/p>\n

This is ideal for use with laser cutters or CNC machines to monitor the flow of water through the laser tube or spindle for cooling. This Water Flow Sensor has a flow rate of 0.3-6 litres per minute and outputs a pulse for every revolution of the pinwheel sensor. These pulses are approximately 2.25 millilitres each and can be easily counted to calculate the water flow.<\/p>\n

One of the key advantages of the YF-S401 Water flow sensor is that the hall effect sensor is sealed from the water pipe, ensuring it stays safe and dry. This makes it a reliable and accurate option for measuring water flow in various applications.<\/p>\n
