XL6009 Boost Module
The XL6009 Step Up module is one of the widely used modules, where there is a requirement of having a specific fixed output voltage, even when the input voltage is below or above the required output voltage.
XL6009 module is a non-isolated step-up featuring adjustable output voltage and high efficiency. It converts input voltage of 5-32V DC to an output voltage of 4-38V DC.
Note: When using these modules remember that the output current will be a lot less than the input current, (remember – W = VA). For example, if you have a 10V output at 1A from a 5V input, the input current will be around 3.6A. The real-life maximum amount of power you can get out of these things is around 10W.
Output current is greater than 2.5A (or output power greater than 10W) to work long hours, please add a heat sink.
