SIM800L V2 GSM GPRS Module
The SIM800L V2 5V Wireless GSM GPRS module provides power supply compatibility with 5V and can be easily connected to a computer for debugging via USB to TTL serial port. It has an output current of 800mA, and its TTL serial interface is compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. You can directly connect it to your single-chip computer after purchasing.
The GSM module features an IPX antenna and offers the flexibility to switch between a PCB glue stick antenna and suction cups. With support for four-frequency communications, this module allows data connectivity worldwide.
The SIM800L GSM GPRS module is a quad-band module that works with Arduino. It offers GSM functionality including voice calls and SMS, as well as GPRS capabilities. This module operates at a voltage of 5V for both the VCC and TTL serial levels.
The SIM800L module includes a built-in regulator circuit and a TTL-level converter while many GPRS/GSM modules on the market require additional components such as a 5V regulator and level converter circuit.
