Description
ELECROW eBus Adapter Shield C6 with Translucent Enclosure USR-ES1 Module without Ethernet
The eBUS Adapter Shield C6 offers an interface to a 2-wire eBUS with galvanic isolation, enabling reliable communication with eBUS-compatible heating, ventilation, or solar systems.
As an enhanced version of the previous adapter (v5), it continues the evolution of earlier designs with significant improvements. These include a more compact size (37x26mm), a pluggable eBUS connection, built-in WiFi using the ESP32-C6, compatibility with various Ethernet modules, and many additional features.
Introduced in early 2023 after extensive prototyping, the v5 version is already widely used by thousands. Since its release, several design upgrades have been made, including the integration of an eFuse for overvoltage and overcurrent protection, as well as a USB-C connection, both featured in the C6 version.
Features
- Complete galvanic isolation with no power consumption from the eBUS (classified as Class 0 per the eBUS specification).
- Versatile host connectivity options, including:
– Built-in USB
– Built-in WiFi with an onboard PCB antenna
– Direct plug-in compatibility with Raspberry Pi
– Ethernet (using the optional USR-ES1 addon module, see details below) - Full compatibility with the enhanced ebusd protocol.
- Web-based configuration and firmware updates, available at no cost.
- Optional sensor connectivity for expanded functionality.
- Specifically optimized and designed for seamless integration with ebusd.
